I posted my PLAY list a while back, I took a couple of detours... lol... and here is where I am now:

So this isn't a Broadway show but.... I got some free tickets to the Circus and wow has it changed lol... 

... it was pretty darn entertaining... ZING ZAM ZOOM!

I was late for the show so I missed the opening act. It was too dark and confusing for me to find my great seat... so I had to wait until intermission... and I got harassed by the usher about using my cellphone as I tried  to contact my other party and let them know that I was indeed in the building... however, after intermission ... the show was moderately entertaining ... I was out of the nose bleed and I had my snacks lol!

These guys are quite the dare devils... I thought the older woman to my left was going to have a heartattack watching them and their balancing act! Don't get Cirque Dreams confused with Cirque Du Soleil... in other words I still need to see the Beatles in Vegas

Great seats again! I actually sat next to a girl that works for Broadway Across America... can you say interesting... her mother had binoculars and we were in prime seats... so I'm not quite sure about what they were gazing at .... lol... and they had "theater" rules... like don't talk, don't sing, don't laugh, clap on cue, don't breathe ... ok well you could breathe... but you catch my drift... she of course had already seen the show but she didn't ruin it for me... I thought the set design was AMAZING... STUPID... BRILLIANT... and the show itself was decent... 

I got to see/hear Popular live and that in itself was a sweet treat... lol... yeah, it was sing- a-long time!

The Soloist

Again, thousands of movie fanatics will hit the movie theaters this weekend. Most of them are setting out to see Obsessed, staring Idris Elba and Beyonce Knowles. Some will patronize Robert Downey Jr and Jamie Foxx in The Soloist.... Here's my two cents... GO SEE THE SOLOIST... this movie is OSCAR WORTHY... Obsessed is not even on the Oscar radar... The Soloist NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT NOW... you can go see Obsessed next week!... now for the real movie review... as an artist who knows that my talent is a gift/blessing... the soloist just solidified my views... my mother always told me that no matter what anyone said or did they could not take my talent away from me... the Soloist was a great example of this idea... no element of the world has that power... I haven't experienced anything that has brought me greater joy and fear than my gift!

To be everyone and everything is impossible... you can't create the end ... you just have to experience it ... and the best way to prepare for it is to go into it pure... not pure in the societal sense... but pure in your emotional sense... i thought back over what i blog about .... it's a lot of material stuff...art in one particular medium... a popular one at that... it doesn't represent everything about me... although it is a strong representation of my human... just analyzing what i just wrote i would say i get weirder by the day lol... in a way i get free-er by the night... I read an interview of an artist I've invested my human in ... it infuriated me... what he said felt real... but sometimes real is too much... it felt like the game i play.. laid out in front of me... i poked holes through his theory and if i could have i would have picked up a red pen and circled the confusion...it's hard to think of how to pursue something... become the best at it... and not be egotistical about it... its impossible... you'll spend all your time hiding what you have... which is a contradiction of not being egotistical because you're still acknowledging it on an amazingly high level... it's the equivalent of flossing... not better or worse... society may see it more acceptable... but there lies more contradiction as validation by society is a feed for egoism... i acknowledge why free spirits are so refreshing so envied... so free.. oh and I NEED this basket!
